This eclectic group of professional fiber artists who meet in New York City challenged themselves to create works measuring 36 inches square that relate to the ideas of texture and the city.

Gifts From the Heart: New Acquisitions from the Binney & Weinberg COLLECTIONS
November 5, 2008–January 10, 2009

This exhibit highlights the vision of two diverse families with the same passion for collecting quilts. These thirteen antique quilts donated in 2007 by Gail Binney Stern and Shirley Weinberg will be featured in our main gallery with other selections from our permanent collection featured in our period rooms.

In addition to the special exhibitions, the museum always has a selection of its permanent collection quilts on display.
