In 2012, the New England Quilt Museum celebrates its Silver Anniversary as the only museum in the northeast devoted solely to the preservation, promotion and celebration of this uniquely American art form. From a gleam in the eye of a very enthusiastic and dedicated group of Founding Mothers, the museum has grown to become a landmark in the heart of the country's historic textile producing region.

MUSEUM ELIGIBLE FOR PARKER FOUNDATION MATCHING GRANT

We are thrilled to announce that the New England Quilt Museum has received a $45,000 matching grant from the Parker Foundation to endow a permanent Curatorial Chair, create a new museum publication and improve our long-range strategic planning.

In order to qualify, however, we must receive dollar-for-dollar matching donatons NO LATER THAN JUNE 1, 2012. Won't you consider being part of this exciting opportunity?
